The author carried out number of mechanical modernisations for the existing equipment achieving higher efficiency of it, including preparation of design (calculations and sketches), practical work on a modification and field experiments.

As well, the author worked on the economical analysis of this project and has achieved significant savings for the company.

Episode 3: Agricultural Engineer - Head of Department

In this Career Episode author describes his work as the Agricultural Engineer – Head of Department. In this position his main duties and responsibilities were:

• To provide technical support to all aspects related to mechanization activities
• Management of the department (over 30 operators)
• Responsible for the agronomic aspects of the company (including planing, equipment distribution and solutions to on-going problems)
• Planting process modernisation
